Artist Biography 2022
The natural world brings a sense of joy and wonder to my life. I live and work on Wangal Country, where the trees and birds create a strong sense of place and home.
After obtaining a degree in biodiversity and PhD in ecology, I now work with others to conserve Australia’s native birds. With a head for strategy and planning, I adopt a holistic approach to tackling conservation challenges. I also like to immerse myself in the world of the arts.
In addition to enjoying art for art’s sake, I believe art can be a powerful conservation ally. In turn, nature inspires creativity. I am exploring poetry as a means of connecting with, and expressing my love of, nature.
