Street Tree is one of my life-long projects, it is about appreciation of the street trees. When I see powerful street trees that give me energy, I would like to return the appreciation, which leads me to create ‘between-ness’ art of the street trees. This series of work is made up of portraits of the street trees; ‘just live’ is a message I received from the trees, and they were from England in 2019, contains memories, time, and the ‘in-between’ because of the pandemic that has taken place.
