Research Interests

My research interests center around the current, past and future distribution of species, how populations interact and how we can maintain or increase the evolutionary potential and resilience of biodiversity through ecological restoration. In particular I am interested in combining molecular data with ecological and functional data to investigate these issues.

I am interested in the complex history of the Australian rain forest and I am part of a team developing and applying various molecular tools to unravel the history of this system and provide conservation management tools.
